Avoiding Wedding Day Problems

The best way to avoid any major problems on your big day is by hiring an experienced professional to take care of all the details and make the day as stress-free as possible.  Here are also a few extra suggestions to keep things running smoothly.

1.  Document everything you want/need to have done that day.  By giving your helpers layouts of the tables, as well as ceremony and reception layouts, you can make it easy for them to have things done the way you want them.

2.  Make a contact list of people who will be helping and someone who will be with the bride and the groom all day.  Usually this would be the Maid of Honor and Best Man.  Family contact information can also be helpful.

3.  Create a time line for the day to give to your helpers and vendors.  Make sure the vendors all know what time they will have access to the venues so they don't arrive when the buildings are still locked.
By staying as organized as possible, and making sure those helping have all the information they need.  You can have have a stress-free and happy Wedding Day!

    Ordering Wedding Invitations

When you’re planning a wedding, there are a lot of decisions to be made. Among those decisions will be the location, the date, and the type of service, who will be in the bridal party and who is to be invited to the wedding. Most couples struggle when it comes to deciding how many people to invite, but it is extremely typical to send an invitation to a guest you know will not be able to come to the wedding. If you order your wedding invitations to be printed, your printer will often require a minimum number of invitations to place the order to begin with. Always order at least 25 extra wedding invitations and envelopes than number of guests you are planning to invite. This can save you money in the long run to avoid extra printings if you decide to invite additional guests.

    So You're Engaged!!!

The first thing every Bridal Couple should do is announce their engagement to their friends and family. If the couple is traditional, the groom-to-be has probably already asked his new father-in-law for his daughters hand. So the brides parents already know. The best way to tell your families about your engagement is in person if at all possible. Some ideas would include hosting a lunch with both sets of parents or giving them a phone call together to announce the news. The parents should ALWAYS be the first to know about the engagement. Once they both know then it would continue on to grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
